We opened for Body Count last week and Josh showed up with a broken arm. He got in a fight because some guy almost hit him on Manhattan Ave and he made the mistake of catching up with the car and banging on the hood. The nine foot tall Polak inside was not impressed and hurled Josh against a stop sign which bent his forearm something fierce.

Note the strange shape it has when compared to Curtis’ normal arm.

But Josh is a trooper so he just iced it, did 3 Adderalls, and a bunch of shots. He said he couldn’t get a buzz though, which led to a theory Curtis and I came up with about your white blood cells being so hyped on solving the problem they can’t be distracted.

Look at our sweet angel go. He even got the drum roll for “Right Brigade” right.

It’s weird to see really punk punks at our shows but you’d be surprised how many HC bands have Johnny Rotten to thank for their vocal styles. The beginning of “Right Brigade” by the Bad Brains is pure UK punk rock with it’s “You day you’re trife / I’m a bore” in a pissed off nasaly voice. And Iron Cross’ “Crucified” has curiously British sounding rolling of the Rs.

I think we’re opening for the Dwarves next or Trail of Dead or something.
