Though Wikipedia seemed to know about Dash’s death before a lot of his friends did, the major news outlets were not far behind.

From The Guardian
His death has shocked anyone who had any contact with him or knew his work. The drugs were all there in the artwork (and the rumours), but so was a sense of real beauty and honesty. It wasn’t necessarily the aesthetic of his work, but its independence that made it so influential. He simply didn’t give a shit.

From the New York Times
Mr. Snow was a rebel as young as 13, when his parents – Taya Thurman, a daughter of Ms. de Menil’s and Christopher Snow, a musician – sent him to a reformatory-like school in Georgia. He stayed there two years. After his release, he returned to New York and began living on his own.

From The Post
Snow made collages that incorporated copies of The Post, which he told Page Six two years ago was his favorite paper.
