I wrote this for Death & Taxes during the Roman Polanski doc scandal a few months back. I abandoned Roman however, and spent the whole time talking about how fucked up “To Catch a Predator” is. Fear mongering sells ad space so they pretend internet predators are this huge problem and “prove” it by napping nabbing 30 to 40 an episode. Nobody mentions the part where there’s been less than half a dozen cases of this happening in the real world – ever. Then a gay dude blew his head off.

Well done Gavin, the writing and what you actually did to that pedo creepo. That Death & Taxes mag seems like the kind of thing that covers interesting subjects (e.g. CSS) but isn’t necessarily well-written. This article was the best thing there.

Maybe he had horribly disfigured legs from an accident. Maybe he just likes kids. Maybe he is a loner just trying to make it in this world. Maybe he really does like hobbies. You should have used your kid as bait and then pulled some “perverted justice” out the can.
