Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros played a show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. I brought my camera along with my dancing shoes.

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros!!!
Alex Ebert, also known as the lead singer of the L.A. based electro band Ima Robot, is currently touring the states on a bus that has Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros largely printed on the side. They opened up their set with the song “40 Day Dream” and everyone was singing along immediately, though the definite crowd favorite was “Home.” Performing with an infectious energy and charismatic stage presence, it’s no wonder that Edward Sharpe sold out the Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York for two consecutive nights. If they’re playing in a town near you, don’t miss out on what could very well be the best live show you’ll see all year.

I am so sick of that song “Home.” Bring back IMA ROBOT. They were stupid but at least they knew it and reveled in it. And yes LA is killing NY right now it’s sad.
12.03.09 at 4:33 pm
How can LA bands trying to sound like their from NY be ahead of NY? Are they cooler because they’re not from there? You can have them. I want them and their hipsters groupies the FUCK out of LA. I swear Midwest transplants continue to ruin the West Coast…

@ Street Boning
Course not, though she does not purport to be a sometimes ‘music blog’ either. I was referring to the Edward Sharp photo set, an idea that possibly seems copped from a set she posted 2 weeks before (it was ’so last week then,’ too).
