why hold men to a different standard? i don’t think it’s “OK if men fuck whomever they want” and i think that is the perception in society nowadays. isn’t it a little counterproductive, if not entirely hypocritical, for an apparent feminist to take such a rigid approach to men and sexuality in the modern world? have we not evolved enough by now to all realize the standards for sluttery are universal at this point- black, white, man, woman…a slut’s a slut. i know many people who aren’t “ok” with promiscuous males, and so i’m questioning why this supposed champion of equality is making divisions based on sex?
and to imply that it’s a woman’s lack of tuition that gets them date raped is kiiiiiiiinda absurd.
who are you to say date rape isn’t the “worst” thing that can happen to a woman? for someone who is trying to pass them self off as an apparently legitimate “professional feminist”, how can you definitively state that? there are so many instances of brutality that you’re undermining with that statement.

Tracie’s acting like she had no power over the words that came out of her mouth in that interview/whatever it was. She’s been in journalism for long enough to know that shit like that can happen, you can be taken out of context, etc. What she and Moe said was FUCKING STUPID even if the sentiment behind it was true (and I really agree with what she’s saying as it’s elaborated here). I like her a lot, but she really should just man up (lols) and take some responsibility for acting like an asshole. Also hahaha at “you can say stupid shit because you’re a man.” Talk about defensive, even if it’s supposed to be a joke.
