Cerebral Ballzy being Cerebral Ballzy
Looks like today is all about the music videos. Street Carnage heartthrobs Ninjasonik and Cerebral Ballzy dropped new videos, both of which highlight the the most prominent artistic elements influencing contemporary New York City musicians: cheap beer, the subway, and drinking cheap beer on the subway.
CEREBRAL BALLZY “INSUFFICIENT FARE”
This song is taken off Cerebral Ballzy’s debut EP You’re Idle, which is available now for $6.66 on Article Records in super limited edition vinyl 7” with skateboard grip tape sleeve (designed to destroy all the other records in your collection). They have also just released a live album on cassette-only label Tape Alarm in the UK.
CB’s full US tour starts on June 7th, with a UK and EU tour planned for July/August.
And please, can people stop asking us if Honor is dating Ke$ha? They hooked up once and as far as we know, her song “Boots & Boys” is not about him.
NINJASONIK “BARS”
And here is the Ninjasonik music video that we mentioned on Friday. It was directed by our dude Jason Goldwatch, the same guy who did A Million in the Morning, and features the Ninjas partying from the LES over the water to BK, all in one night. It basically illustrates what an ideal summer night in New York should be, so take notes. We just wish you could hear the fight at the end.
Jason and Ninjasonik are working on more videos and eventually a feature documentary to be released in conjunction with National Geographic and IMAX 70MM 3D Scratch and Sniff theaters.

Cool. Not too hyped on either band, but the videos are both pretty rad. The shot of the CB dudes drinking 40’s at the end, sporting their hard looks, is pretty funny though. How do those guys take themselves so seriously?
