“Cool beans” was fun while it lasted but things were getting out of hand. We started saying “kewell beanz” and “coal bins” and then people even said, “Go here and exhale” which means exhale carbon dioxide AKA CO2 at LL Bean. COO LLBEAN. Get it? Me neither. By making a fresh start with “Fresh Beans” we absolve ourselves of this kind of baggage and can start anew.

I think they get that it’s actually “Sweet” beans. As you can tell from the intro paragraph these guys are obsessed with cool beans and have mentioned it about 15 times on the site. From now on, I’m using both Fresh and Sweet beans. Cool Beans are dead to me.
