I’ve been anticipating the new Gang Gang Dance record for quite a while now and am so stoked to have the new album, Saint Dymphna, in my hands. Curious girl that I am, upon looking up Saint Dymphna, turns out she is”the patron saint of those who suffer from mental illnesses and nervous system disorders, epileptics, mental health professionals, happy families, incest victims, and runaways.” Now if that doesn’t sum up GGD’s fans I don’t know what does. All kidding aside, the album is as killer as ever and was well worth the wait. It stands true with the GGD style but I’m claiming ‘Desert Storm’ as the complete stand out track on this record. You can download the song below, expect to be blown away. The new album officially launches on the 21st, pick it up at your favorite record shop or directly from the Social Registry. Additionally, you can find GGD on tour in the next few weeks, check the dates to see when they’re playing in your town. Believe me, you really do not want to miss them live.
