In Idiocracy we hear of a crazy new future world where the most popular movie in America is a guy getting kicked in the nuts again and againjust an ass. How about now? iPhone’s most popular app is a 99 cent thing that goes “pppph” when you push it. And we have software developpers fighting over who owns “pull my finger..” I mean, on the one hand it’s depressing but on the other it’s hilarious and why am I laughing if only idiots would find this amusing? Maybe it’s because farts really are funny.
PS Best quote from that link “The company claims there are about 75 different flatulence simulation software applications.”

Actually the most popular movie in that “art film” is about an ass that farts. Which would kinda make sense considering the content of this blog. Way to do your research.

I was forced to sit through that shit c/o this fucking stunning little blonde number who had me strapped to her couch with her and her dirty blonde (dirty blonde the hair colour—as far as I know) friend. The whole film is self-fulfilling. I did kinda find it funny that they fed Gatorade to the crops though.
This fucking stunbag on his trike is nothing new. Wish I could post some pictures, but they didn’t have cameras back when christ was tearing shit up. Jesus4eva.

Idiocracy was a seriously funny movie on premise alone but I noticed that Hollyweird pretty much sent it straight to video probably because they said that all stupid people in the future will talk ebonically and that they’ll elect a black pres which is politically incorrect to say. Not everything can be the English Patient or yet another re-telling of how how horrible the Nazis were/are you know or even Juno for god’s sake. Maybe if Michael Cera was in Idiocracy you would have liked it better. I give it 5 stars.

in Idiocracy the most popular movie in the future was called “Ass” and was just a picture of an ass farting for 90 minutes(it won 8 oscars that year). “Oww, My Nuts!” was the most popular tv show.

I actually know a real life person who is exactly like the president in that movie. He’s black and looks and acts exactly like that.

Idiocracy is one of the best movies ever, it’s just not finished. The executives at Fox thought it hit a little too close to home so they rushed the release of it, gave it almost no time in the theaters, and then gave it the shittieest dvd release ever (no bonus stuff, they sank as little money into it as possible) It still stands on it’s own (it’s like WALL*E for grownups) but if the studio had given Mike Judge some more money and time, it would’ve been absolutely perfect.
I work in a video store and the only people that don’t like it or say it was stupid or didn’t understand it are all the people that this movie is making fun of.

I guess rap has no retirement, 401K, or pension, because it looks like Melle Mel went ahead and started the ‘American Bad Ass Chauffeur Service.’

If Idiocracy is a glimpse into America’s future, it looks like Crocs are going to be making a comeback! Makes sense if idiots will be running the world.

Another good futuristic movie about the present is A Scanner Darkly with Robert Downey, Jr., Keanu Reeves, Woody Harrelson, and Winona Ryder. Directed by Richard Linklater. Good book too if you like Phil K. Dick.
