And I had a full-blown, held-down-by-six-orderlies seizure after surgery. A seizure earlier in the week is what started the tumor ball rolling.

Good news: This type of tumor is benign in 95 to 97 percent of cases. Mine was fully benign. And I know it sounds like bravado, but I feel more lucid than ever. That plum had been inside my dome for an estimated 20 years or so.

I’m still in the hospital, tied up to so many wires and needles I look like that ‘N Sync “No Strings Attached” video. I should spring loose in a couple days, just in time for my first son to be born.
