ROCKERS NYC: DIPLO SANTOGOLD MIX

We downloaded this mix tape Diplo did with Santogold and it is FUCKING AMAZING. Dancehall to Dead Kennedys to Native American Pow Wows. Holy shit. It sounds like a bunch of Harlem drug dealers and a cute chick from Brooklyn broke into our office and pushed all our records into 126 MB of pure gold. Chicago may have started the whole idea of bringing rock and punk and other shit to the world of dance but New York really fine tuned it into a whole subculture. We cares if we don’t walk together? At least we rock together.

Here’s a wee taste of the amazingness that is this album. Dancehall version of Black Flag’s “Six Pack”
