Everyone loves Dave Mustaine for starting Metallica and making a handful of awesome, awesome records with his band Megadeth, which was a band he couldn’t get kicked out of no matter what. Apparently, the dude is a notorious asshole in the heavy metal community. OK. For all that hearsay, he sure seems like an endearing young man in this clip from a Japanese talk show. Sure, the dude is totally strung out. But c’mon, if he’s talking straight to a puppet with a nippy accent and the man is completely fucked up out of his mind and taking the interview seriously, what is there NOT to love about the guy? Motherfucker wrote “Holy Wars.”
