Steven Seagal had the crap interviewed out of him by Street Carnage Radio. Hollywood, spirituality, his new album, living in the delta, music, drugs, Arsenio Hall, AIDS … just to name more than a few.
It’s not easy being an FM radio guy. Jesus, I have no idea how Spike Dawg and T-Bone do it. It is soul crushing. It takes all of the power you can summon to keep that voice going, have your eyebrow arched in constant interest and maintain that sycophantic laughter. Shit. They have to sleep with loaded guns under their pillows praying it goes off in the night.
Anyway we spoke to Steven Seagal. We wore 18 Sundays worth of our Sunday’s Best attire, combed each other’s teeth and flossed each other’s hair.
Nervous? Indubitably! We were speaking with God for Seagal’s Sake!
He was a perfect gentleman, only scolding us thrice and generally showing rapid disinterest with our questions. By the time we got to the end of the interview, his responses were not unlike a man being interrogated by two retarded chaps, while trapped between them on a cross-country bus trip.
