SUPERTOUCH: BEN KINGSLEY GUEST SINGS FOR 80s HARDCORE

Sir Ben Kingsley STOMPS into the shoes of Minor Threats’ Ian MacKaye from Mean Magazine on Vimeo.
During a show we did for Mean Magazine, Ben Kingsley stepped in and did “Minor Threat” by Minor Threat. The sound you get off the boards at Irving Plaza is insane and the end result is actually better than the original. The best part of the whole night was when the Xs on the backs of Ben Kingsley’s hands wore off from licking salt off them during tequila shots. What a guy.

This is great! I don’t think that’s him, is it? Just his head. Isn’t this funny? …I think so. That’s Ben Kingsley…and it looks like he’s belting out some Minor Threat. Pretty funny….

The real sound from the event would have been better, if it was like the weak stage view from the pit they probably fucked up the audio though.

This person is going to chew you up and puke you out but you’re not a man until you’ve: had your heart broken, broken a heart, had the shit beaten out of you, and beaten the shit out of someone, so you might as well get this first part over with.

Are the words “J.A.P.s in July” in any Broadway songs about how great New York is? They should be.
