Chuck Biscuits is on my list of “Greatest Imports From Canada” simply for the fact he has played drums for my favorite bands of the 80’s era. He’s arguably been THE BEST drummer of bands such as D.O.A., the Subhumans (the “Fuck You” Canadian band, not to be confused with the “Mickey Mouse is Dead” British counterparts), Fear, the Misfits, and the Descendents… The man is the Neil Peart of punk rock. Jesus Christ, have you heard Black Flag’s 1982 Demos? That shit puts Bill Stevenson to shame, and the man can go toe to toe with anything Lucky Lehrer pulled off on the skins. Come to think of it, the world of punk rock has the most underrated drummers to ever grace this world: Penny Rimbaud, John Mahr, Nickey Beat, that dude from Generation X, the list goes on and on…

I watched that Danzig compilation video with a friend of mine a few months back, great stuff. Also, maybe not the most ridiculous stuff on the vid.

don’t forget his time with the circle jerks and social d. chuck has always played as solid, bluesy and swingin’ as john bonham ever did but with rapid-fire hardcore speed! he is truly an unsung punk rock hero.
too bad that video was kinda dumb, but thanks for the post!
