Kierkegaard's entire point is that faith is incomprehensible; no matter how he rationalizes it, he can't come up for an explanation of how this works. And yet he believes. He understands on a pre-rational level that is stronger and more consequential than anything logical. In the end this is more about cause and effect than anything else.
