I never thought Blondie was punk. They hung out with punks and Debbie Harry looked good in photos but they were just a 70s pop band. “Call Me,” however, is as punk as this album gets. Billy Joel? I mean, I guess he kind of looks like Steve Jones but he’s the pianoman. “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” is probably Queen’s gayest song. Rick Ocasek and The Knack had sunglasses and wore skinny ties but they never gave anyone the finger. Fuck this record.
