chfi is terrible. when i was younger my friends mom would listen to delilah in the car. she spew’s terrible advice for dull people. you’d probably be disgusted by her. (in an awesome way)

I have to say, as much as I hate the norms, I hate norms masquerading as ‘different’, AKA the most stereotypical hipsters, far, far more. You try to talk to somebody dressed like they might be interesting at a party and it turns out they’re fucking dunces with no sense of humor who want to talk about TV or their shitty jobs, who call you bro and act tough to compensate for the fact that they feel like their tight pants might make them gay. That, or they play up the fey indie look for all its worth, listening to fucking boring, trite soft-rock abominations, the aural equivalent of the Gap. Fuck that, I’m glad I’m still metal, unlike all the hipsters who ‘used to listen to metal’ or ‘used to be punk’ so they could have some cred, as if they outgrew it and found something more intelligent. It’s all about taste.
